HOME and GARDEN, Watercolor Painting Landscapes, Auckland, New Zealand

One of the characters of the village is a mix of architecture homes.  This painting was started outdoor and finished at home.  Sitting on the green of St Heliers rise, one of a scenic area of the village, I do a careful sketch and made notes of details of textures.  I painted as much on site as I could.  Fine details were added at home when memories were still fresh!

    1. Ahmed AlRawi Thank you for sharing experience. I have a similar approach. Playing with a lot of details, trying to make the watercolor realistic and not overdone required a lot of practice!
